The Best Thing About A Bed And Breakfast Cape Cod

By Kenneth Barnes

When it comes to taking a Spring or Summer vacation, there are many places at which individuals can spend time resting and relaxing. One of these is at a Bed and Breakfast Cape Cod. For whether visiting, the inner or outer cape, this area has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. While this is the case, it should be noted that many areas are more conservative while others are quite liberal.

While staying on the cape for a honeymoon can be delightful, so can visiting one of the many cities and towns in the area. Whether taking in some maritime history along the coast, dining on the waterfront, or meandering down cobblestone streets, the cape often has something to offer newlyweds.

As the cape stretches from Provincetown to the South and Plymouth to the North, it covers a wide area. As such, there are a number of scenic highways and byways which run along the coastline. It is important to check road conditions, especially in winter, as these roads can often be closed due to construction or inclement weather at any time during the year. However, when open, most are lined with quaint antique shops, businesses, tourist attractions and those offering groceries and other necessities.

The southern tip of Massachusetts is an awesome place to visit, so to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, two islands off the coast. While there are a number of celebrities, wealthy families and others living on the islands, both still draw tourists on a regular basis. While this is the case, it should be noted that Martha's Vineyard has far more to offer in the way of tourism than Nantucket. Whereas, those looking to fish or go whale watching might prefer to a trip to Nantucket, which also boast some of the best food the islands have to offer.

When it comes to towns on the cape, Provincetown is the best for people in the LGBTQ+ community, or gay newlyweds. For, the area is far more accepting and diverse than others in the area. With that being said, most all areas are peaceful and accepting. However, there are some areas of the state which are more conservative than others. As such, it is often good to know about places like Provincetown where all are treated with dignity and respect.

International and younger travelers often prefer to stay in youth hostels over hotels. For one thing, these establishments are often far less expensive. Whereas, there are often a number of other travelers with which one share conversation, cook dinner and go on group outings. While this is the case, there are many hostels run by Hostelling International which allow members of all ages to experience the life of hostelling.

The entire cape is often a draw for retirees, especially the town of Carver. For, this location is convenient to a number of stores, restaurants and host a senior mobile home park along with an activities center. As a result, this area also has a population with an average age higher than most others.

Whether on a honeymoon, vacation, a business trip or simply visiting relatives in the area, Massachusetts has a lot to offer. Take downtown Boston for example, one can go on a tour of the downtown area, catch a play, ballet or opera. Whereas, for the more academic minded, one can visit the campuses of Harvard and MIT just across the bridge in Cambridge.
